Two hand-painted porcelain salt jars with classic underglaze blue Blue Fluted Plain decoration and scalloped rim. Model 1/199, 1st quality.
Origin: Denmark.
Material: Porcelain.
Dimensions: H. 2 cm, D. 4 cm.
Period: 1920s.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear.

Royal Copenhagen was founded in 1775 under the patronage of Queen Dowager Juliane Marie and remains one of Denmark’s most important porcelain manufacturers. The company is internationally celebrated for its hand-painted porcelain services, especially Blue Fluted Plain, which has been an enduring icon of Danish design and porcelain history since 1775.
