Bio:
Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) was a Danish-Finnish ceramicist and designer, considered one of the leading Scandinavian ceramic artists of the 20th century. As artistic director at Rörstrand from 1931, he transformed Swedish stoneware through his organic forms and experimental glazes. His work combined modernist refinement with technical innovation, and his pieces remain highly regarded by collectors worldwide.
