Bing & Grøndahl was founded in Copenhagen in 1853 by sculptor Frederik Vilhelm Grøndahl (1836–1900) together with brothers Meyer Hermann Bing (1807–1883) and Jacob Herman Bing (1800–1875). The company became internationally renowned for its porcelain figurines and artistic tableware, celebrated for exceptional craftsmanship and refined modelling. Bing & Grøndahl is especially noted for its figurative porcelain works, which remain highly collectible today.
