Decorative angel figure in glazed faience with hand-painted polychrome decoration in yellow, pink and green tones, designed as a candlestick with classic Nordic styling.

Bio:
Aluminia was founded in Copenhagen in 1863 and became one of Denmark’s most important producers of faience, ceramics and porcelain. The company became especially renowned for its high level of craftsmanship and decorative design, often characterised by both functionalism and traditional Nordic motifs. In 1882, Aluminia acquired Royal Copenhagen, and its production remains an important part of Danish ceramic history.
