René Lalique (1860-1945) was a French glass artist, jeweller and designer, regarded as one of the most influential figures of the Art Nouveau and Art Deco movements. He transformed the art of glassmaking through innovative techniques and created some of the worlds most iconic perfume bottles for leading fragrance houses.
