Bio:
Meissen Porcelain was founded in 1710 in Meissen, Saxony, and was the first porcelain manufactory in Europe. The factory gained international recognition for its hand-painted porcelain and technical innovations. The Blue Onion pattern, known in Germany as Zwiebelmuster, was introduced in the eighteenth century and remains among the companys most iconic designs. The crossed swords mark has been used since the 1720s and is one of the oldest registered trademarks in the world.
