Collection of five decorative art glass pieces from Scandinavian and European glassworks, including an example designed by Bertil Vallien for Kosta Boda. The group comprises vases and art glass objects executed in various techniques and colours dating from the 1950s to the 1980s.

Bio:
Kosta Boda was founded in Sweden in 1742 and is one of Scandinavia’s most renowned glass manufacturers. During the post-war period the company collaborated with several leading designers, including Bertil Vallien (born 1938), who has been one of its most influential artists since 1963. Vallien is internationally recognised for his experimental glass art, sculptures and sand-cast objects, which have had a significant impact on modern Scandinavian glass design.
