Bio:
Oiva Toikka (1931–2019) was one of Finland’s most influential glass designers. He worked for Nuutajärvi and Iittala throughout most of his career and gained international recognition for his organic forms, experimental approach to glassmaking and imaginative decorative designs. The Flora series, introduced in the 1960s, remains among his most celebrated creations, admired for its richly detailed botanical relief patterns and vibrant colours.
