Berndt Friberg (1899–1981) was a Swedish ceramic artist and one of the most influential figures in Scandinavian stoneware. He joined Gustavsberg in 1934 and gained international recognition for his masterfully thrown forms and sophisticated hand-glazed surfaces. His works are represented in major museum collections and are regarded among the most desirable examples of twentieth-century Swedish ceramic art.
