Bio:
Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) was a Finnish-Swedish ceramic artist, sculptor and designer. He served as artistic director at Rörstrand from 1931 to 1955 and is regarded as one of the most influential ceramic designers in Scandinavia. Nylund is particularly known for his organic forms and innovative glaze techniques, which played a significant role in shaping twentieth-century Scandinavian ceramics.
