Bio:
Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) was one of Scandinavia’s most influential ceramic artists and designers. He served as artistic director at Rörstrand from 1931 and created numerous iconic stoneware series over several decades. Nylund is particularly renowned for his organic forms, innovative glazes and his significant contribution to the development of modern Scandinavian ceramics.
