Bio:
Kurt Lindon (1910–1986) was a Swedish artist born in Stockholm. He studied at the Technical School in Stockholm but developed much of his artistic practice independently. Lindon is particularly known for his intimate and lyrical depictions of everyday life and the people of Stockholm and its surroundings. Often working on a modest scale, he created warm and engaging scenes distinguished by a sensitive use of colour and atmosphere. He was a member of Swedish artists’ organisations and is represented in Swedish museum collections.
