Bio:
Stig-Åke Lund (1932–2023) was a Swedish painter, printmaker, sculptor, draftsman, and trained goldsmith and silversmith. He studied at Gerlesborg School, Beckmans School of Design, and Konstfack in Stockholm, and also worked as a designer for Vivianna Torun Bülow-Hübe. His work is recognised for its organic, nature-inspired abstraction across painting, printmaking, sculpture, and mixed media. Lund's works are represented in major collections including the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm, the Swedish Public Art Agency, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
