Bio:
Leif Sylvester Trampedach (1943–2013), widely known as Trampedach, was one of Denmark's leading Expressionist artists. Working across painting, printmaking, drawing, and sculpture, he developed a highly personal visual language distinguished by emotional intensity, dramatic colour contrasts, and powerful portrayals of the human figure. During the 1980s his work gained international recognition through exhibitions abroad, including in New York. Posters issued for these exhibitions have become desirable collectibles, documenting an important period in the artist's international career.
