Set of four hand-painted dinner plates in white porcelain with relief decoration, yellow rim and a blue floral motif. Marked with the Meissen crossed swords, first quality.

Origin: Germany.
Material: Porcelain.
Dimensions: D. 26 cm.
Period: Circa 1900.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear.

Bio:
Meissen was founded in 1710 as Europes first porcelain manufactory and is regarded as one of the worlds leading producers of hard-paste porcelain. The factory is renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship, hand-painted decoration and the famous crossed swords mark, introduced in 1722, which remains an internationally recognised symbol of authentic Meissen porcelain.
