Bio:
Britt Philipson (born 1942) is a Swedish ceramic artist and designer educated at Konstfack in Stockholm. She worked for Upsala Ekeby during the 1960s, producing a small body of ceramic wall plaques and ashtrays distinguished by stylised animal motifs and strong graphic decoration. Her output for the company was limited, making her works sought after by collectors of Swedish ceramics.
