Bio:
Finn Nielsen (1908–1962) was a Norwegian artist. His artistic career took place during the mid-20th century, a period in which Nordic art moved between figurative traditions and an increasingly free abstract visual language. His abstract works are characterised by an expressive treatment of colour, form, and surface, with impastoed brushwork and clearly defined fields of colour creating dynamic and richly textured compositions.
