Bio:
Karl Anders Kihlgren (1914–1963) was a Swedish painter born in Örebro. He studied under Otte Sköld and at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and undertook study trips to several European countries, including France, Italy and Spain. Kihlgren worked with landscapes, figure subjects and still lifes, often characterised by a modernist approach and a strong use of colour. He is represented in the collection of Örebro Museum.
