Antique armchair in the traditional English Windsor style, probably dating from the second half of the 19th century. It features a curved spindle back with a pierced central splat, shaped wooden seat, curved arms and turned front legs and arm supports.
English Windsor chairs of this period were commonly constructed using elm for the seat and ash or beech for the turned components, although the exact timber of this example cannot be confirmed from the photograph alone. Sellingantiques
