Set of five porcelain plates by Royal Copenhagen from the Art Nouveau period, decorated with different stylised floral motifs in delicate blue, green and beige tones. The plates feature gently undulating, relief-moulded rims.

Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear. Marked with one incised cancellation line.
Bio:
Royal Copenhagen was founded as the Royal Porcelain Manufactory in 1775. Around 1900, the manufactory’s porcelain embraced the organic forms of Art Nouveau, with inspiration drawn from Nordic nature. Underglaze decoration in subdued colours became a characteristic feature of its production during this period and contributed significantly to the manufactory’s international reputation.
