Bio:
Arnold Emil Krog (1856–1931) was a Danish architect and porcelain artist who became artistic director of the Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Manufactory in 1885. He played a decisive role in the artistic renewal of the manufactory and became particularly known for his work with underglaze decoration and natural motifs. The Midsummer Night’s Dream service was designed by Krog around 1899.
