Elegant Danish set of five cake forks by A. Michelsen, crafted in gilt sterling silver with handles decorated with enamel in different colours. The five forks feature green, white, blue, black and red enamel stripes respectively.

Bio:
A. Michelsen was founded in Copenhagen in 1841 by Danish goldsmith Anton Michelsen (1809–1877). The firm became one of Denmark’s most important silversmiths and was appointed purveyor to the Royal Danish Court. A. Michelsen is particularly renowned for high-quality Danish silver craftsmanship and works in silver and enamel, and collaborated with a number of prominent Danish designers over the years.
