Bio:
Qingbai porcelain was produced in China during the Song dynasty and is distinguished by its translucent glaze with a characteristic pale bluish-green tone. Production was particularly associated with Jingdezhen and related kilns in southern China. Mould-decorated bowls became widespread during this period, and designs depicting boys among flowers and plants were traditionally associated with wishes for numerous descendants, prosperity and good fortune.
