Bio:
The Meissen Porcelain Manufactory was founded in 1710. The green Vine Leaf pattern was created in 1817 by Johann Samuel Arnhold following the development of a chromium oxide green underglaze colour and subsequently became one of Meissen’s classic decorations. The Crossed Swords have served as the manufactory’s distinctive trademark since 1722.
