Bio:
The Meissen Porcelain Manufactory was founded in 1710 as Europe’s first producer of hard-paste porcelain. The Crossed Swords were introduced as the manufactory’s mark in 1722 and remain one of its defining characteristics. The Vine Leaves pattern, with its green leaves and trailing vines, belongs to Meissen’s classic botanical repertoire. The two cancellation lines at the mark indicate a factory quality classification.
