Marianne Westman for Rörstrand, set of six Elisabeth teacups with saucers and sugar bowl.
Set comprising six teacups with matching saucers and a sugar bowl in glazed ceramic. Decorated in Marianne Westmans Elisabeth pattern for Rörstrand, featuring a distinctive geometric design in deep blue, green and white. Marked to the underside. Handpainted

Bio:
Marianne Westman (1928–2017) was a Swedish ceramicist and designer who worked for Rörstrand from 1950 to 1971. She became one of Swedens most prominent post-war ceramic designers and created numerous popular tableware series and patterns. Her work is recognised for its clear colours, stylised patterns and distinctive visual language, now closely associated with Swedish design of the 1950s, 60s and early 70s.
