Bio:
Tamara Aladin (1932–2019) was a Finnish designer and glass artist. She worked for Riihimäen Lasi from 1959 to 1976 and became one of the factory’s most prolific designers. Aladin created both functional glassware and decorative art glass objects and became particularly known for her bold forms and characteristic use of coloured glass. Her work from the 1960s and 70s is closely associated with Finnish glass design of the period.
