Bio:
Per Lütken (1916–1998) was a Danish glass designer and one of Holmegaard’s most significant designers. He joined Holmegaard in 1942 and worked for more than five decades with functional glassware, sculptural forms and decorative works. His designs are particularly known for their soft, organic lines and close attention to the natural qualities of glass. Lütken’s extensive body of work for Holmegaard holds a central place in the history of Danish glass design.
