Bio:
Mario Rojas is a Swedish-Spanish ceramic artist known for his experimental approach to sculptural ceramics, form and materials. His artistic practice includes whistling ceramic vessels inspired by ancient American pottery traditions. These works combine sculpture and sound through constructions in which water and air pressure produce musical tones. Rojas explores the interaction between earth, fire, water and air, investigating the possibilities of ceramics as both a visual and sensory medium.
