Bio:
Lisa Larson (1931–2024) was a Swedish ceramic artist and designer, internationally recognised for her distinctive figurines and sculptures. She studied at the School of Design and Crafts in Gothenburg and joined the Gustavsberg porcelain factory in 1954, where she developed numerous celebrated ceramic collections. Her artistic language combines humour, warmth and a strong sense of simplified human expression. Alongside her well-known animal figures, she also created more experimental and sculptural works, including female figures with individually textured surfaces and glazes.
